We are looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant to join a reputable national law firm specializing in Complex Litigation. This role involves supporting attorneys with high-stakes cases in federal courts and contributing to trial preparation and case management. The position offers flexibility to transition to fully remote work following a 30-day in-office onboarding period.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file legal documents in federal courts with accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

• Manage large exhibits and assist in organizing trial materials for complex litigation cases.

• Coordinate trial preparation activities, including creating visual aids, models, and mockups.

• Compile and maintain detailed exhibit lists and ensure proper handling of trial exhibits.

• Utilize case management software to track and organize case information effectively.

• Support attorneys in managing discovery processes and ensuring compliance with court rules.

• Communicate effectively with team members and external contacts to facilitate case progress.

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, depositions, and court appearances.

• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure thorough preparation for trial.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information and uphold high standards of performance.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in complex litigation.

• Proven expertise in filing documents in federal courts and managing trial exhibits.

• Proficiency in using case management software for organizing case-related information.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling large-scale discovery cases.

• Ability to create visual aids and other materials for trial preparation.
