CDL Tanker Driver Job description

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 annually Job Type: Full-time, year round

Duties:

· Drive assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery of agricultural products.

· Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm operational condition.

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

· Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues.

Skills:

· Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate truck-specific endorsements.

· 2 years’ experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.

· Proficient driving skills and a clean driving record.

· Ability to operate loading equipment.

· Effective communication and customer service abilities.

· Capable of working independently and following instructions precisely.

· Physical stamina to manage long driving hours and loading/unloading tasks.

Benefits are not deducted from pay; base compensation is determined by load percentage.
