About the Role

B2B Servicing and Supply Chain is seeking a forward-thinking and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations.

We are a growing, multi-state organization in the industrial supply and distribution space, delivering digitized solutions to independent distributors. Our CFO will play a key strategic role, partnering with leadership to drive financial performance, ensure operational efficiency, and support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership over all financial functions, including working capital, budgeting, forecasting, taxes, and general accounting

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounting team to build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Analyze current and future business operations to assess financial effectiveness and identify risk mitigation strategies

• Oversee financial reporting processes, budgeting cycles, and enhancements to systems and reporting tools

• Partner with the corporate CFO and financial team to ensure audit readiness, compliance, and accurate financial reporting

• Lead financial oversight of M&A activities, including due diligence, modeling, and seamless integration

• Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality or employee engagement

• Ensure accurate and timely period-end closings and preparation of financial statements

• Collaborate with Legal and People teams on contracts, internal controls, governance, insurance, and financial compliance

• Manage banking, broker, and lender relationships to ensure strong financial positioning

• Other duties as assigned by the CEO

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior-level finance leadership in a large, multi-state company (experience in supply chain or B2B servicing strongly preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)

• Proven track record in:

  • Strategic financial planning

  • Budget development and forecasting

  • M&A integration and financial modeling

  • Audit management and internal controls

  • Performance improvement and cost optimization

• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with North American financial regulations

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools
