Senior Finance Manager – Healthcare

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead hospital and healthcare system financial reporting, audits, and strategic analysis. This role partners closely with the CFO and senior leadership to support decision-making, ensure compliance, and drive financial performance across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Partner with CFOs and senior leadership to analyze and interpret financial data
• Coordinate annual system-wide audits, grant audits, and tax filings
• Oversee compliance with federal and state grant regulations
• Prepare IRS 990 and 990T tax filings with external consultants
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members

Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)

✔ CPA required

✔ 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience (public accounting a plus)

✔ Strong knowledge of GAAP and audit standards

✔ Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills

✔ Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
