Description:

Authorized by the Supply Chain Director to procure goods, services and equipment to meet customer demand.

• Purchase material, services, and equipment (direct and indirect) per customer and internal requirements
• Research material and source appropriate vendors in line with company guidelines
• Analyze reports and make purchasing decisions for inventory.
• Create and issue purchase orders for vetted material requirements.
• Update order confirmation details including price and delivery information.
• Follow-up on purchase orders and communicate changes to internal customers.
• Expedite delivery of purchase orders when required.
• Negotiate price and delivery of materials and services to realize cost savings.
• Provide quotes on necessary goods as requested.
• Compare and analyze sourcing options to achieve best results.
• Resolve issues related to inventory shortage and stock availability.
• Support planning and sales to meet customer expectations.

• Knowledge of standard procurement practices (domestic, international, MRO, stock) and ability to apply.
• Knowledge of vendor sourcing practices and ability to apply.
• Ability to forecast demand based on trends and future needs.
• Ability to complete tasks in a time sensitive/variable environment.
• Knowledge of and ability to use established technology, hardware and software (MS Office, ERP/MRP software, computers, tablets)
• Required to make timely decisions, under complex and demanding circumstances
• Good verbal communication and influential leadership style are important
• Problem solving with a systematic, accurate approach

Compensation details: 27-27 Hourly Wage
