Litigation Paralegal (Fully Remote)

Superior Executive & Legal Recruiting is actively seeking a talented Litigation Paralegal on behalf of our client — a Los Angeles-based plaintiff’s law firm focused on protecting employees’ rights.

Routine Job Responsibilities Include:

• Filing all pleadings via One Legal (California state courts), CM/ECF (federal courts), or other approved e-filing systems.
• Serving summons and complaints.
• Monitoring service attempts and coordinating with process servers to ensure timely completion of service of process.
• Drafting and filing Case Management Statements and ensuring compliance with court scheduling orders.
• Obtaining CourtCall or other telephonic/remote appearance login information for attorneys.
• Drafting captions and Proofs of Service.
• Contacting the court, as necessary, to confirm hearing logistics, resolve filing issues, or verify case scheduling.

Additional Job Responsibilities May Include:

• Calendaring arbitration deadlines.
• Handling correspondence with JAMS and AAA, including payment of filing fees, arbitrator selection, and scheduling matters.
• Managing arbitration service and filing of all documents through AAA and JAMS portals, email service, and coordinating physical mail service.
• Dispersing incoming physical mail to the appropriate attorney or staff member in accordance with firm protocols.
• Calendaring court deadlines for responsive pleadings, motions, and hearings.
• Managing PAGA-related work, including drafting complaints, preparing LWDA letters, and coordinating related discovery.
