Insurance Retention Specialist

SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative, customer-focused Retention Specialist to help us maintain and strengthen our client relationships. In this role, you will work directly with clients to identify concerns, address issues, and implement strategies that keep their business with us.
A persuasive approach, excellent customer service, and strong relationship-building skills are essential. A top-tier Retention Specialist can significantly boost revenue by fostering long-term client loyalty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sell and service various forms of Personal Lines insurance to meet clients' evolving
  • insurance needs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and carriers.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Gather information about client concerns and provide feedback to management.
  • Execute proactive retention strategies.
  • Provide excellent service to retain the business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Florida 2-20 License required.
  • Minimum of 2 years Property and Casualty Insurance Experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong conflict resolution, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Empathy and patience.
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Individuals must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other related business software.
  • Experience and knowledge of Applied EPIC management systems is plus but not required.
