Now hiring Industrial Painter Trainee's in McConnellsburg, PA!

This is a great entry-level opportunity to become an industrial painter!

Shift: Will go through the training class on 1st shift for 7-10 weeks, then become an official Industrial Painter and move to 2nd shift 3pm-11pm

Pay Rate: Starting pay rate for the class portion will be $17/hour, will bump to $22.75 after completing the class!

Job Description

As a Painter Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to enhance your skills in industrial spray painting. You must pass the Painter Qualification test and recertify your skills as required. This role requires you to operate overhead cranes, follow detailed work instructions, and maintain high-quality standards. You will work in both team and individual settings while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Pass the Painter Qualification test and recertify skills as needed.
• Operate overhead cranes to safely maneuver parts into position.
• Train and work in various production areas in response to demands.
• Follow verbal and written work instructions, including reading blueprints.
• Pay attention to detail to adhere to quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Work effectively in both team and individual settings.
• Ensure regular attendance.
• Perform all other duties related to industrial spray painting and paint preparation.
