We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team and support the daily operations of our client's warehouse. In this role, the Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a reach truck to load and unload trucks, stage materials, and assist with general warehouse organization. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and experience in safely operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks with efficiency and precision.
• Stage materials in designated areas to ensure easy access and effective inventory management.
• Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support warehouse organization efforts by keeping the workspace clean and orderly.
• Follow all company safety protocols and guidelines, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others in the warehouse.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily and weekly operational goals, contributing to a cohesive and productive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift is preferred but not required.
• Valid forklift operator certification or a willingness to obtain certification before starting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions and complete tasks.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to foster effective collaboration with colleagues.
