We are a logistics provider and warehousing company based in the Union City area looking for an experienced forklift operator who can also assist in order fulfillment, picking and packing. Basic computer skills a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Pull pallets from our pallet racks
• Receive incoming shipments from trucks
• Prepare and stage outgoing shipments
• Assist in picking and packing of orders
• Have a positive and motivational attitude
• Work daytimes (approximately 730am-230pm, Monday- Friday)

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with warehouse machinery an advantage
• You can lift heavy boxes and push or pull heavy items that weigh between 30 and 50 pounds.
• Experience in a food manufacturing/distribution or grocery environment preferred
• You don’t mind physical work, it energizes you.
• Computer and phone proficiency

Job Specifics

25 - 35 hours per week depending on availability | Start Date: ASAP

As Forklift Certified Fulfillment Associate, you will report to our warehouse manager who knows the ‘ins and outs’ of the business and will be on hand to train and support you. You will be responsible for executing the day-to-day fulfillment center activities including, but not limited to:

- Forklifting pallets into and out of pallet positions

- Unloading and loading trucks

- Packing orders

- Maintaining a clean workspace

- Taking inventory and light admin work

Physical Requirements

• We characterize this role as physically demanding. You must be willing and able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, balancing, stooping, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling carts, and handling of materials.
• Must be able to regularly lift, carry and/or push and/or pull between 30 to 50 pounds.
• Walking, Standing, Reaching: Up, down or laterally, up to 8 hours combined per day
