Overview:

NextGen Event Services is seeking experienced and talented Diesel Mechanics to join our team.

Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) on machinery and systems at dispatched location.
• Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems on site.
• Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.
• Maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Mechanic Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required.
• No felonies on record.
• Pass drug test.
• Ability to carry 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to work for long period of times.
• Willing to travel to any location with little to no prior notice.
• Basic Computer operation knowledge.
• 2+ years of relevant experience which may include education.
• Knowledge of heavy machinery and power generator repair and maintenance principles preferred .
• Experience driving a forklift preferred .

Compensation:

This position pays according to the experience level of the contractor. Travel arrangements are provided by the company and approved business-related expenses are reimbursed.
