Job Description
The Carroll County Water Authority (CCWA) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer at its administrative offices in Carrollton, Georgia.
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing CCWA’s overall financial operations. Duties include but are not limited to performing accounting functions, developing and maintaining an annual budget, preparation of financial reports in accordance with GAAP and GASB, rate administration, long-term planning, overseeing customer service operations including billing and collection of revenues, and development and implementation of policies, procedures and internal controls. The position includes managing of front office operations and supervision of employees. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. A minimum of ten years accounting experience and at least five years experience performing duties consistent with those described are required. A Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree or related field is required. Finance background and/or CPA experience is advantageous but not required to apply.
