Your Role as an Art Teacher

• Deliver Engaging Instruction – Teach assigned classes with creative, diverse, and technology-rich lessons that align with Sage Alliance curriculum goals and middle-level English scope and sequence.
• Foster a Supportive Learning Environment – Create a consistent, emotionally safe classroom that supports the academic, social, and emotional needs of students, while setting clear expectations for conduct and behavior.
• Empower Student Growth – Engage students in meaningful activities, apply varied instructional techniques, and provide individualized support that builds confidence and learning success.
• Collaborate with Families & Colleagues – Maintain open communication with parents, participate in team meetings, serve on committees, and contribute to whole-school decision making.
• Support Professional Practice & Compliance – Keep accurate records, follow policies and regulations, participate in evaluations, attend professional development, and contribute to school events and activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education
• NJDOE Teacher Certification
• Content Certified in Art
